9.5 Replace a Solaris LD tile with back access to the display
Necessary tools
•
5 mm hexagon Allen key.
•
Ratchet handle with short extension bar and 10 mm hexagon socket.
How to replace a Solaris LD tile with back access to the display ?
1. Remove the rear cladding plate behind the column of tiles wherein the tile is located which you want to replace. Use therefor a
5 mm hexagon Allen key to release the four screws of the rear cladding plate. (image 9-5)
2. Disconnect the power cable and the two data cables connected with the tile you want to replace.
3. Release the four tile fixation nuts. Use a ratchet handle with short extension bar and 10 mm hexagon socket. (image 9-6)
Caution:
Keep a firm grip on the tile while removing the tile fixation nuts to prevent the tile drops out of the display.
4. Grab the tile by the handles and push it gently forward out of the display and hand the tile over to someone in front of the display.

5. Place another tile into the display.
6. Fasten the tile with four tile fixation nuts.
7. Reconnect the power cable and the two data cables.
8. Reinstall the rear cladding plate.
