Installation of the second precision frame
Necessary tools
•
19 mm open ended spanner.
•
Ratchet handle with short extension bar and 10 mm hexagon socket.
•
1000 mm spirit level.
Necessary parts
•
Precision frame.
•
Two Solaris LD tiles.
•
Eight tile fixation nuts (K).
•
Four M12x30 hexagon head bolts (A).
•
Four M12 plain washers (B).
•
Four M12 spring lock washers (C).
How to install the second precision frames upon the Solaris LD support structure ?
1. Attach the second frame loosely next to the first one using four M12x30 hexagon head bolts (A), containing a M12 plain washer
(B) and a spring lock washer (C), as illustrated. Ensure to use the outer mounting holes of the precision frame. Do not fasten
yet. (image 5-25)
Let the height adjustment bracket of the precision frame rest upon the lower horizontal profile of the support structure.
Tip:
Adjust the height of the precision frame by turning the bolt in or out the height adjustment bracket until the mounting holes
on the frame correspond with the mounting holes on the support structure.
2. Loosely attach the top and bottom tile between the two precision frames using four tile fixation nuts per tile. Do not fasten yet.
Ensure to use the tile mounting holes on the precision frames indicated with an arrow on image 5-26. Use the height adjustment
brackets of the precision frame to make the mounting holes on the frame fit the mounting pins on the tile.
Note: The final approach of the tile into the precision frame must be at right angle.
The tile fixation nuts are fixed to the tile on delivery. So, you have to remove the nuts before inserting the tile into the
precision frame. (image 5-27)
3. Level out the tiles by adjusting the height of the second precision frame. (image 5-28)
4. Fasten the top and bottom tile between the two precision frames and fasten the second precision frame. Ensure the tiles stay
leveled. (image 5-29)
