3.1 Solaris LD display tiles
Functionality
The display of the Solaris LD is built up with display tiles. All tiles are connected in series via a data path. The physical location of
a tile in the data path does not matter because within the Solaris LD model all tiles are equal. But the data path must be created
in a daisy chain matter. Each tile picks out a part of the video information of the data stream on the data path and process this
information for displaying on its LED's.
Depending of the chosen Solaris LD model the resolution of the display tile can be different, either 8 millimeter or 10 millimeter. The
Solaris LD tiles need to be powered up via the mono phase power box which supplies a voltage between 190 and 230 volt.
