5. Installation procedures
It's very important that the Solaris LD support structure is installed correctly and solidly. Otherwise seams
will be visible after installation of the display tiles.

5.6 Installation of the precision frames upon the Solaris LD support structure

Installation of the height adjustment brackets

Installation of the first precision frame
Installation of the second precision frame
Installation of the third and following precision frames
What has to be done ?
After installation of the support frame the precision frames has to be attached upon the support frame. This is done starting by
mounting a height adjustment bracket on every precision frame. Then the installation of the first precision frame in the middle of the
support frame. Subsequently the neighboring precision frames are placed one by one. The top and bottom tiles are simultaneously
installed with the precision frames. Those tiles function as a caliber for correct positioning of the precision frame in relation to the
previous installed precision frame.

hammer or other heavy duty tools on the precision frames. Never use the precision frames to climb on to the
Solaris LD display.
The most left and the most right precision frame on the support structure are half size precision frames. Those
half size precision frames do not require a height adjustment bracket.

Installation of the height adjustment brackets
Necessary tools
10 mm open ended spanner.
5 mm hexagonal Allen key.
Necessary parts
Height adjustment brackets.
Bag with M6x25 hexagon socket head cap screws (F).
Bag with M6 hexagon flange nuts (G).
Bag with M12x30 hexagon head bolts (A).
How to install the height adjustment brackets ?
1. Attach a height adjustment bracket at the rear bottom of each precision frame as illustrated. Use two M6x25 hexagon socket
head cap screws (F) and two M6 hexagon flange nuts (G). (image 5-20)
Note: The front bottom of each precision frame is marked with a cut out triangle at the bottom pointing downwards indicating
the bottom of the display.
2. Provide the height adjustment bracket with a M12x30 hexagon head bolt (A). Do not turn this bolt completely in, a few turns will
do.

Handle the precision frames with care. Do not walk on or drop the frames. Never bang with a
