AUTION
dummy input module (R9850930) must be inserted in all unused input slot of the Solaris D2 digitizer.
Cabling
Next to the source cabling, the Solaris D2 digitizer needs three basic connections. The first one is the power connection. Depending
on the socket type of the wall outlet a power cord with CEE or NEMA plug is used. In case the Solaris D2 digitizer is mounted inside
the Solaris LD housing, power has to be split off from the mono phase power box using a power split cable and extension lead.
The second basic connection is the data connection between the Solaris D2 digitizer and the first tile of the Solaris LD display. This
connection is realized with a DVI/DVI data cable with a maximum length of five (5) meter.
The third basic connection is the serial communication between the local PC and the Solaris D2 digitizer. A fifteen (15) meter
long communication cable with SUBD plugs connected, via a SUBD - RJ12 adaptor, with a RJ12 data cable is used to realize this
connection.
