CAUTION
Hardware diagnostics from the rigid disk is not
implemented at this time. Answering Y to this
question will cause unpredictable results. See
Chapter 4, New System Checkout, for more
information.
11. Proceed to "Record Your Configuration on the
Processor", below.
Record Your Configuration on the Processor
At this point, you have indicated the options you
want to have set, but they have not been recorded
on your processor. The new configuration answers
you have selected along with the currently set
configuration data are displayed at the bottom
portion of the display.
1. A question appears on the screen, asking
whether you want your workstation to be
reconfigured.
Do you want your workstation reconfigured
with the option you have selected? [YIN]
• Type Y
if
you want to record you r new
configuration and have it replace the current
configuration. Proceed to step 2 below .
• Type N if you do not want to record your new
configuration and have it replace the current
configuration. If you type N, the following
message appears:
The user has aborted the hardware
configuration store process
Press any key to return to the System
Configuration Utility menu to choose an
option.
