2. INSTALLING STANDARD AND OPTIONAL COMPONENTS
Install Chips
PICK UP
IC CHIP
Note: Carefully read steps 1-6 prior to installing
the ICs.
1. Remove an IC chip from the static resistant foam
in the plastic container. Place the IC chip on a
flat, non-metallic surface. Locate the notch on
the IC.
2. Place the IC insertion tool on top of the IC chip
and pick it up by gently rocking the tool back
and forth.
