NEW SYSTEM CHECKOUT
After the workstation is installed and configured,
certain system diagnostics must be run to verify that
the hardware is functioning properly. These system
diagnostics can be run from a floppy disk or the
network. Two types of system diagnostics are
available:
• System checkout
• Rigid disk confidence test
System checkout takes between 11 and 25 minutes
to complete, dependi ng on memory size, and is run
first. The rigid disk confidence test takes about 4
minutes to complete, and is run second. If any
problems are detected during either procedure,
contact Customer Support for further instructions.
