3. SYSTEM CONFIGURATION UTILITY
Installation from Floppy Disks
1.
Insert the disk labeled Offline Diagnostics Disk
#1 in the floppy disk drive and close the door.
2.
Press the 8 Reset button on the processor front
panel. 800t icons, which represent the function
keys at the top of your keyboard, appear across
the bottom of you r screen.
3.
Press the F2 key in the top row of function keys.
A small window with numbers cycling through
it will appear in the top left corner of your
screen. When the number cycle reaches
0990,
a
new window will appear, with the word
RUNNING
in the upper left corner.
This
indicates that the Offline Diagnostics Disk #1 is
being loaded.
The following message is displayed when the
disk has been loaded:
Please insert second diagnostic floppy disk. Is
the floppy disk ready? Y
4.
Open the door of the floppy disk drive and
remove the disk. Insert the disk labeled Offline
Diagnostics Disk #2 into the floppy disk drive,
close the door, and press
<
RETURN>.
The
following message appears on your screen:
Loading diagnostics from the second floppy disk
Wait for completion of "loading, then proceed
to "LogIn", below.

Proceed to "Log In", below.
