B. RIGID DISK DRIVE INSTALLATION
9.
Slide the new rigid disk into the processor.
10. Screw in the disk drive retaining screw.
11. Tighten the thumbscrews on the disk drive until
they are finger tight.
12. Plug in the AC and display power cords.
13. Install the rear cover by installing the lower left
side of the cover first (your left as you face the
rear of the procesor unit). Pry the lower right
side of
the
pivot point inward and push the
cove·r into place.
14. Place all the
c~bles
beneath the cable retenti on
bar and tighten
the
screw securing
the
cables
under the retention bar.
15. Close
the
rear cover of the processor by
squeezing
the
latches together and then firmly
pressi ng
the
rear cover to
the
back of the
processor. When the door is properly closed,
the cover is flush with the rear panel of
the
processor.
16. Insert
the
end of the power cord into the wall
outlet and switch the power button on the
processor unit to ON ..
17. If upgradi ng, run the System Configuration
Utility and set the appropriate configuration
options to enable the rigid disk drive.
