Unpacking the System

When you remove the 9450 from its shipping carton, verify that you have the parts listed
below. Save the box and inner wrapping in case you need to reship the unit.

If you ordered the system with SoftScreen installed, the documentation kit will include the

If you ordered the system with a touch screen installed, you will also receive a touch
screen driver disk and manual.

Quick Start-Up

Turn off power to the unit and unplug the power cord before making any adjustments
to the inside or outside of the computer.
If the battery is disabled, when it is re-enabled the system must be powered up for a
minimum of 30 seconds. Failure to follow this procedure may result in premature bat-
tery failure.
