Installing External Hardware Options

This section explains how to install external hardware options available with the 9450.

Keyboards

Two keyboard options are available for the 9450: 8000-KB5/KB7 and 8000-KB6/KB8.
The 8000-KB5 and -KB7 are rack- or panel-mounted NEMA 4 104-key QWERTY key-
boards with PC/AT interfaces. The 8000-KB6 and -KB7 are rack- or panel-mounted
NEMA 4 numeric keyboards with 52 function keys.
The keyboards are installed in the same manner. Mount them according to the cutout in
Appendix B, Figure B-4. Once the keyboard is mounted, connect the keyboard cable to
the keyboard port on the back panel of the unit. Keyboards and dimensions are shown in
Figures 3-7 and 3-8.
