Serial Mouse

There are two mouse options with the 9450: Xycom's 4100-MS1 two-button serial
mouse and an optional built-in serial mouse.
To connect the 4100-MS1 serial mouse, attach the connector on the mouse cable to
COM1 or COM2 on the 9450's back panel.
The built-in serial mouse is located in the lower right-hand corner of the front panel. The
built -in mouse operates in the same manner as a conventional mouse.
The built-in mouse consists of three basic parts:
Left mouse key
Mouse dome
Right mouse key

The built-in mouse uses the COM2 port.
Serves the same function as the left button on a conventional
mouse.
Moves the pointer around the screen. Press the edge of the
dome that corresponds to the direction in which you wish to
move the pointer.
Serves the same function as the right button on a conven-
tional mouse.
