Final checks
Final check of the permissible energies and forces.
Risk of injury due to moving mechanical parts
Check permissible forces and energies after the door drive has been commissioned in the
complete system and adjust them if they exceed their limit values.
Observe the valid applicable standards and directives for the respective application, as well
as the following guidelines:
• SIDOOR ATD400W, ATD4xxW
• SIDOOR AT40, ATD400V
• Gearing up or down is not allowed on the toothed belt because this would change the
Risk of injury and material damage due to excessive closing or opening force of the door
Exceeding the maximum static closing and opening force may lead to personal injuries or
damage to the door drive and to mechanical components of the door.
The maximum static closing and opening forces at the closing edge without additional
protective equipment must not exceed 150 N!
Under the application of DIN EN 13849-1:2008 and with the reversing device disabled and
without additional protective equipment, the maximum static closing and opening forces
must not exceed 75 N.

WARNING
The drive is suitable for use with power-operated guards in accordance with
EN 953:1997+A1:2009, Chapter 5.2.5.2. Protective devices trigger an automatic
reopening of the guard (reversing function).
The speed limit curve is the characteristic curve which defines the maximum permissible
door speed V
as a function of the total door panel weight.
