you should confirm that any memory or data corruption issues are not the result of a
change in the device's configurations or settings.
Use the following procedure to format the device's flash memory.
WARNING:
DATA LOSS — Formatting the device's internal flash drive erases all the data in
memory and returns the device to its factory settings.
If possible, back up or record any data that you do not want to lose before
performing the following procedure.
1.
Connect the device to AC power.
2.
Go to the Service Setup menu, as described in
page
3.
Select the Format Flash button and press Enter.
If the device is not connected to AC power, a window will open. Connect the
device to AC power and select OK.
When the device is connected to AC power, a window opens with the following
message:

Select Yes.
The following message is displayed:

Click OK.
The system starts to format the flash memory.
While the flash is being formatted, the display will seem to be locked.
When the format is complete, a status message is displayed, and you are
prompted to restart the system.
