3. Click OK (on the tab at the bottom of the screen).
The date and time freeze and the following message is flashed on the screen:
• If the update is not successful, corresponding messages are displayed.
• If the update is successful, the following message is displayed:
4. Restart your system for the update to take effect.
Using Forced Software Update
This system supports the forced software update feature, which you can use in
cases where the system is not booting up after a software update. Use the following
procedure to initiate the forced software update:
1. Ensure the SD card has the correct OS software file version.
2. Create a dummy file on the SD card and rename it update.com.
3. Insert the SD card in the slot and then power on the system.
The system takes a few minutes to come up.
4. When it is done, remove the SD card and delete the update.com file from the
SD card.
NOTE:
A forced software update takes approximately 3 to 4 minutes.
