Enable an SSH connection on the serial port

You can enable an SSH connection on the serial port.

Log in to the Connect IT web
2. Click Configuration in the left pane.
3. Expand the Serial section.
4. Expand the port that you want to configure: Port 1, Port 2, Port 3, or Port 4.

Select the Enable option to allow the serial port to be directly
accessed by a raw TCP connection.
WARNING! This connection is not authenticated
or encrypted.
Specify the TCP port for the service.
Minimum value: 1
Maximum value: 65535
Default: 4001
Description
Expand the IPv4 Addresses section to add IPv4 addresses or
networks from which this serial port can be accessed. Click
Add to add an address.
Expand the IPv6 Addresses section to add IPv6 addresses or
networks from which this serial port can be accessed. Click
Add to add an address.
Expand the Interfaces section to add network interfaces from
which this serial port can be accessed. Click Add to add an
interface.
Expand the Zones section to add firewall zones from which
this serial port can be accessed. Click Add to add a zone.
