Valve guide remover/replacer

Notes:
l The internal recess in the valve guide must be towards the tool.
l Service valve guides are supplied with the internal diameter unfinished and must be reamed or machined
to the correct diameter.
l If new valve guides are to be fitted, the valve seat inserts must be replaced as well, and the valve guides
must be fitted before removing the old valve seat inserts.
The procedure for removing (A1) and fitting/replacing (A2) is shown below.
Valve guide protrusion (A3) should be 7,7/7,9 mm (0,030/0.031 in).
