To test
Caution: If the thermostat does not operate correctly, it must be renewed. Do not try to adjust the settings.
Hang the thermostat (A4) unit by a suspension line (A2) in a suitable container filled with coolant.
Heat the coolant gradually. Use a thermometer (A1) to check the temperature at that the valve starts to open,
when it will fall from the ribbon (A3). Also check the temperature at that it is fully open. The correct temperature
is given in the relevant Data and dimensions for the "Cooling system" on page 28.
