The platform has an electronic control board that enables the power supply to the
ON‐OFF proportional coils after verification of the safety conditions by the sen‐
sors positioned on the machine. The control procedure on the electronic board
may be bypassed using the key selector switch with spring return: "safety device
bypass key". The electronic board records every bypass action carried out by the
operator on the safety devices, filing them by date, time and lapse of time during
which the operator held the "safety device bypass key" in position. The board is
also provided with an event record that stores all the operations performed on the
machine for a variable period of time.
8.12.BOOMS POSITION SENSORS
One or more cylinders of the aerial part arm are equipped with an internal posi‐
tion sensor that allows the circuit board to know the position of the cylinders and
adjust the speed. The electric connection of the sensors is visible on the bottom of
the cylinders. When one of the sensors is broken or its signal no longer reaches
