6.3.2 External Continuous measurement / External Special
The control unit measures continuously as long as the signal "Measurement Start" is switched to
HIGH. If the signal "Measurement Start" is switched to LOW, the measurement is aborted and the
last measuring result is frozen until a new cycle is initiated.
When approaching the sheet, the outputs signals switch from 0-sheet to 1-sheet (or 1-sheet to 2-
sheet respectively). An undefined condition can occur at the outputs, i.e. all outputs or none can be
active. If this condition occurs the outputs have to be interrogated again.

Check whether the output OUT0 "Enable" has been switched to HIGH (ready for operation), otherwise a

fault condition is existing.
Before starting a measurement all inputs must be LOW for 10ms.

Switch the input IN0 "Measurement Start" to HIGH.

After max. 4ms the measurement result is available at the outputs OUT1...OUT3.

The measurement result of the second measurement is available at the outputs.

The measurement starts again.
The measurement result of the third measurement is available at the outputs.

The measurement starts again.
Switch the input IN0 "Measurement Start" to LOW.

The measurement is aborted, the last measurement result is now available at the outputs OUT1...OUT3.
The measurement result is frozen until a new cycle is initiated.
