Checking The Valve Clearance - MOTO GUZZI V85 TT Service Station Manual

Remove the filter box (2)
•
Unscrew and remove the screws (3)
•
Remove the cover (4).
•
Remove the filter element (5)
DO NOT START THE ENGINE WITH THE AIR FILTER RE-
MOVED.
TO CLEAN THE FILTERING ELEMENT, USE A PRESSUR-
ISED JET OF AIR, AIMING IT FROM THE INSIDE OUT-
WARD.

Checking the valve clearance

If the timing system is very noisy, check the clearance between the valves and the rocking levers.
