Adjusting play

•
Remove the upper steering yoke
•
Remove the safety washer (1)
•
Unscrew and remove the upper ring
nut (2), using the special tool
•
Remove the rubber gasket (3)
•
Adjust by tightening the lower ring nut
to the prescribed torque
•
With the front wheel lifted off the
ground, turn the steering all the way
right and left three or four times
•
Check the tightening torque of the low-
er ring nut
NOTE
HANDLEBAR TURNING RESISTANCE SHOULD BE 250 ±
150 g IN BOTH DIRECTIONS
