Woulfe's bottle
(optional accessories: see chapter "Spare Parts and Accessories")
The Woulfe's bottle is attached between
ventilation valve and condenser.
➜ Unscrew the glass bottle from the lid.
➜ Use the two included knurled screws to
fix the retainer bracket to the side of
the flask lift.
➜ Hand-tighten the glass bottle on the
lid again.
➜ Lay a short tube from the ventilation
valve to the outlet of the Woulfe's
bottle.
➜ Lay a slightly longer tube from the
inlet of the Woulfe's bottle to the
opening for the vacuum connection on
the back side of the condenser at the
top.
Connecting inert gas
The inert gas connection is situated at the ventilation valve on the vacuum manifold.
Prior to connecting the inert gas, the dirt filter must be removed from the ventilation
valve.
➜ Pull back the release ring around the
opening of the ventilation valve and
pull off the dirt filter.
➜ Now connect the inert gas.
➜ When removing the inert gas
connection, put the dirt filter back onto
the ventilation valve.
When the device has been in operation for some time, the ventilation
