Assembly
➜ Turn reflux valve clockwise until the
seal ring is clearly visible and white
plug blocks the output to the receiving
flask
✓ The valve is closed, and the sample is
guided back to the evaporating flask.
➜ Turn reflux valve counterclockwise
until the white plug does not block the
outlet to the receiving flask.
✓ The valve is open, and the sample is
guided into the receiving flask.
The glassware set is no longer vacuum-tight if the reflux valve is opened
too far. Open the valve only so far that the white seal ring underneath
the knurled screw remains visible about 0.5 cm wide.
