Condenser: Glassware set G6
(chiller for reflux distillation)
Additional assembly parts at the va-
por tube:
▪ PTFE seal ring
▪ Spacer sleeve
▪ Additional coupling
✓ The vapor tube is installed together
with the PTFE seal.
➜ Install the PTFE seal ring in the spacer
sleeve
➜ Install the spacer sleeve together with
the PTFE seal ring with the narrow
side first in the vapor tube on the
condenser side
➜ Screw the additional coupling over it
with the male thread pointing left.
➜ Tighten the distributor with the
coupling including the tension spring
onto the male thread.
✓ The distributor is installed.
➜ Insert the chiller into the upper ground
glass joint on the distributor.
➜ Screw the ventilation cap onto the
opening opposite the vapor tube.
