Operation
Setting the vacuum with the rotary
knob
✓ The right rotary knob is assigned to the
vacuum setting.
➜ Set the desired pressure with the right
rotary knob.
➜ To start the vacuum, press the right
rotary knob or tap the symbol "Start
vacuum" on the display.
✓ The right rotary knob and the symbols of
the glass flask/condenser are lit blue.
Maintaining the vacuum
You can maintain the current vacuum at any time, for example, if the setpoint has not
been reached yet but you would like to stop the process for a short time.
➜ On the display, tap the "Maintain vacuum" symbol
(only available in favorites mode and in automatic mode DAA).
✓ The current actual value of the pressure is temporarily kept as setpoint.
✓ The symbol changes to the symbol for "Start vacuum".
➜ Tap the "Start vacuum" symbol
level.
✓ Now, the system will continue to the configured setpoint.
4. Display of vapor temperature / AUTOaccurate temperature
(optional accessory, see chapter "Spare Parts and Accessories").
The vapor temperature is displayed in the control panel when the vapor temperature
sensor is attached.
The AUTOaccurate temperature is displayed, when the AUTOaccurate sensor is attached.
✓ The base device is switched on.
✓ You are in favorites mode or in ramp profile mode.
✓ When the vapor temperature sensor
is attached, the vapor temperature is
displayed at the top left of the control
panel, next to the condenser.
✓ You are in automatic mode DAA.
✓ When the AUTOaccurate sensor is attached, the AUTOaccurate temperature is
displayed at the top left of the control panel, next to the condenser.
5. Protecting setpoints
You can protect the setpoints for rotation speed and heating bath (or vacuum, depending
on the button assignment) from unintentional maladjustment.
➜ Press the respective rotary knob for
approx. 2 sec. to lock the setpoint.
✓ The locked value is signified by a lock.
➜ Press the rotary knob again for approx. 2 sec. to unlock the setpoint.
