4. MEMORY OPERATION

Memory channels

The Memory mode enables you to quickly select
often-used frequencies, modes and other parameters.
You can change the operating frequency, mode and
so on while operating in the Memory mode.
L You can temporarily tune the memory channel frequency
by rotating

Memory

Regular memory channels.
1 frequency, 1 mode, 1 filter, memory name,
tone settings (including tone frequencies
1 to 99
for repeater and tone squelch) and select
memory scan setting in each memory
channel.
Scan Edge memory channels.
1A/1B ~ 1 frequency and 1 mode in each memory
3A/3B channel as scan edges for programmed
scans.
Call channels.
C1/C2
L Cannot be left blank.

• The channel is selected and automatically closes the
MEMORY screen.

1. Push to select the Memory mode.

2. Touch the MHz digit on the operating frequency.
• The BAND STACKING REGISTER screen is displayed.
3. Touch [F-INP].
• The F-INP screen is displayed.
4. Enter the desired memory channel number.
(Example: memory channel 2)
5. Touch [MEMO] to set the entered memory
channel.
