Configuration Using a PC
In order to correctly utilize the capabilities of the TX3 Telephone Access System
you must first plan and establish how you want to configure the system for your
application.
The easiest way to configure the Lobby Control Unit is with the Mircom TX3-
MSW Configuration Software. This software is provided on a single CD-ROM
or USB flash drive.
The PC connects to the Lobby Control unit controller board using one of the
following methods:

The TX3 configuration is set using either the unit's own keypad and display or via

How can the caller ID altered to show New title when a call is received ?
To alter the caller ID to show a new title on the Mircom TX3 Series, you need to edit each message line:
1. Scroll to the message line (Line-2 or Line-3).
2. Press the 1 key 9 times to enter an asterisk (*) if needed.
3. Edit the message content as desired to change the displayed title.
4. Press the telephone (enter) key to accept the changes.
5. Press the info key to return to the previous menu.
