6. Managing the Sensor

The M8 Sensor Settings Management application (also called the web server on the footer of
each page) runs in a web browser to make it easy for you to edit settings for one specific
sensor at a time, as identified by IP address. Although this section of the user guide
reflects M8 sensor Rev D5 (the latest available version) in features, procedures, and
screenshots, your web server's graphical user interface (GUI) will display only the options
available for the current revision level of the particular sensor that you are managing.
Major changes by sensor version (M8 letter) and web server version (WS number) are noted
in Table 8. Features are checked to indicate when they were incorporated.
