Reference transmission

Each transmission measurement is made against the
basic transmission stored in the meter.
When measuring the reference transmission, this val-
ue is ignored and the value measured as the reference
transmission is used instead.
The reference transmission function is not active
when delivered.
The function, reference transmission is active and
appears in the special functions menu.

The measured reference transmission value remains
stored until
the photometer is switched off
the cell type (10 mm, 20 mm, 50 mm, round) is
changed
the wavelength is changed
the measuring mode, reference transmission, is
left
it is manually erased using the erase ref. transmis-
sion function
the function, reference transmission, is switched
off.
→ In the correction functions menu, call up the refer-
ence transmission menu item.
The following display appears:
reference transmission function:
→ Select the menu item, On
→ Confirm with
.
→ To measure the reference transmission, call up the
special functions submenu in the setup menu.
→ Call up the reference transmission menu item.
→ Call up the measure ref. trm. menu item.
The erase ref. trm. menu item first appears
after at least one reference absorbance has
been measured.
