15 Updating method data
During the download, the following display appears on
the photometer screen:
Test mode
Remote
You can check whether the new method data
are stored in the photometer.
To do so, proceed as follows:

Meaning
→ Connection PC - photometer out of
order or not available
→ Photometer not recognized
→ After the download, confirm the "Data successfully
downloaded" message. The download is finished.
The photometer returns to the Concentration
measuring mode.
→ In the setup menu, call up the meter setup sub-
menu.
→ Call up the system info menu item.
Sample display (the software version is irrelevant
here).
The method version (here: 8.00) has to agree with the
method version for your photometer in the "Update
Method Data" window during the download.
Remedy
→ Tightly connect the cable to the
serial interfaces of the PC and
photometer.
→ Use the correct cable
→ Select the photometer manually
