Reference absorbance

Each absorbance measurement is made against the
basic absorbance stored in the meter.
When measuring the reference absorbance, this value
is ignored and the value measured as the reference
absorbance is used instead.
The reference absorbance function is not active when
delivered.
The reference absorbance function is active and
appears in the special functions menu.

The measured reference absorbance value remains
stored until
the photometer is switched off
the cell type (10mm, 20mm, 50mm, round) is
changed
the wavelength is changed
the measuring mode, reference absorbance, is left
it is manually erased using the erase ref. absorb.

→ In the correction functions menu, call up the refer-
ence absorbance menu item.
The following display appears:

→ Select the menu item, On
→ Confirm with

→ To measure the reference absorbance, call up the
special functions submenu in the setup menu.
→ Call up the reference absorbance menu item.
→ Call up the menu item, measure ref. absorb.
The menu item, erase ref. absorb. first ap-
pears after at least one reference absor-
bance has been measured.
