Notes on this functional description
Read part 1 General information of this
operating manual before starting to work
with the photometer.
To ensure that you become rapidly acquainted with
your photometer, the first chapter contains an over-
view of the instrument.
The second chapter contains notes for the safe ope-
ration of the meter.
Chapter 3 describes the commissioning of the photo-
meter
Chapter 4 shows a short manual with the most
important operating steps
The remaining chapters provide a comprehensive
description of the functions and technical data of the
photometer.
Symbols used
Warning
indicates safety instructions that must be fol-
lowed – for your own safety and the safety of
others.
Caution
indicates notes that you must read to protect
your instrument from being damaged.
indicates notes that make working easier or
draw your attention to special features.
→ indicates instructions to do something
Warranty
The designated meter is covered by a warranty of 2
years from the date of purchase.
The meter warranty extends to manufacturing faults that
are determined within the period of warranty. The war-
ranty excludes components that are replaced during
maintenance, such as batteries, accumulators, lamps
etc.
The warranty claim extends to restoring the meter to
readiness for use but not, however, to any further claim
for damages. Improper handling or unauthorized open-
ing of the instrument invalidates any warranty claim.
To ascertain the warranty liability, return the meter and
proof of purchase together with the date of purchase
freight paid or prepaid.
