11 Correction functions
11.1

Blank value

The blank value (= reagent blank value) for each
method is stored in the photometer.
When the blank value function is active, the stored val-
ue is ignored and the measured value of a self-pre-
pared reagent blank solution is used instead. This
procedure increases the measuring accuracy for
some tests (for more information, see part 3 Analyti-
cal procedures of this operating manual).
The blank value only applies to the method just called
up.
The blank value function is not active when delivered.

The measured blank value is stored until
the photometer is switched off
the method is changed
it is manually erased using the erase blank value
function.

functions menu.

The erase blank value menu item first ap-
pears after a blank value has been mea-
sured.
