PRIORITY

Active Function
Description
Imaging
Cycles trackball control through the imaging modes. For example, during Doppler and
2D-mode, press PRIORITY to assign trackball control to the Doppler gate (D Gate) or the
2D-mode field of view (2D FOV).
3D or 4D
Activates the 2D FOV tool or the ROI/VOI tool. Cycles through the available tools for the
current task. For example, when working with volumes, displays the Slice tool and when using
the amnioscopic rendering method, displays the Light tool.
Measurement
Cycles through the available caliper sets.
Body Marker
Activates the body marker or transducer marker for repositioning with the trackball.
NEXT
Active Function
Description

Cycles through the imaging mode tools currently controlled by the trackball. For example,
during Doppler, press NEXT to activate the Doppler gate positioning function or the Doppler
gate steering function.
When the trackball is assigned to the pointer function, the NEXT key is equivalent to the right
mouse button on a personal computer.
SieScape
Activates the rotate function or the pan function.
Measurement
Cycles through the caliper end points.
Ellipse
Anchors the end point for the major axis.
eSie Calcs
Repositions the measurement region of interest.
Auto Volume
3D or 4D
Activates the rotate function or the pan function. In 4D, cycles through the active tool functions
and polygon markers.
Review of
When a quadrant is not selected, activates the measurement function.
4D volumes
Displays a shortcut menu of available selections.
Patient Browser
Filming screen
Velocity Vector
Anchors the last marker, for example, to complete a trace or freeform drawing.
