PW (Pulsed Wave Doppler)

Activates pulsed wave Doppler for linear, curved, and phased array transducers.

Depending on the configuration settings, the system simultaneously displays the Doppler
gate on the 2D image and a Doppler spectrum. Or, you can adjust the position and size of
the Doppler gate on the 2D image before pressing PW a second time to display a Doppler
spectrum.
Use the system configuration menu to select the Doppler gate display, select the display
format for the Doppler spectrum, and enable the audible Doppler signal.
System Config > Doppler / M-Mode Setup
During 3D or 4D, rotates the selected quadrant around the y-axis when you rotate the

control.

CW (Continuous Wave Doppler)

Activates steerable continuous wave (SCW) Doppler for phased array transducers.

During 3D or 4D, rotates the selected quadrant around the z-axis when you rotate the

control.

M (M-Mode)

Activates M-mode and displays the M-mode sweep and 2D image according to the image
screen format selected in the system configuration menu.
Depending on the configuration settings, the system simultaneously displays the M-mode
cursor on the 2D image and an M-mode sweep. Or, you can adjust the position of the M-mode
cursor on the 2D image before pressing M a second time to display the M-mode sweep.
Use the system configuration menu to select the M-mode cursor display and the display format
for 2D/M-mode imaging.
