Reaction to malfunctions in the control system

The reaction of the outputs to control or communication
malfunctions can be set by means of the parameters
–
"Fault Value" and "Fault Action"
–
"Idle Value" and "Idle Action"
The default setting is "Reset output".
Further information on parametrisation can be found in sec-
tion 2.2.6.
Note
Please observe the following if the outputs are reset in the
event of a PLC stop or field bus interruption or malfunc-
tion:
– Monostable valves move to normal position.
– Bistable valves remain in the current position.
– Mid-position valves move to the mid position (depending
on the valve type: pressurized, exhausted or blocked).
