Basic Two Stage System
The figure on page L-6 demonstrates a
basic Two Stage system design. Its
operation is summarized below:
• This system will output Stage 1
audibles when the first alarm occurs.
• If the alarm is not acknowledged prior
to the expiration of stg1_timer, coded
audibles will be forced output Stage 2
audibles.
• If the alarm is acknowledged during
Stage 1, only a keyswitch will place
the system in the second stage.
• If the system is reset after the alarm
has been acknowledged and coded
audibles silenced, the system may be

timers and latches are reset for the
next event after reset.
