4.7 Operating and parameterizing controllers
The service buttons can be used to operate the control device.
The following options are available to configure the control device.
1. Parameter assignment with the minimal editor
2. Parameter assignment via the terminal module (no terminal module is available for the
AT40 BASIC version.)
3. Parameter assignment via supplementary devices (SIDOOR SERVICE TOOL, SIDOOR
SOFTWARE KIT)
Note
After the optimal parameter settings have been determined, note them in the configuration
record (see Appendix Configuration record (Page 147)). Have this record at hand when you
call the Hotline.
Note
With the SIDOOR SOFTWARE KIT, the currently set parameters can be read from the
control device and stored on the PC.
This parameter set can then be reloaded at any other door or at a new control device via the
SIDOOR SOFTWARE KIT.
This means that the doors are configured with the same set of parameters.
Note
Parameter changes
Parameters should always be adjusted during normal operation with the door in the
CLOSED position, because the control device then applies the values immediately.
