3.2 System functions
The maximum kinetic energy of the door is limited to 100 J. The maximum attainable door
speed is limited according to the dynamic mass determined during the learn run.
Calculation of the door speed (v) on the basis of the kinetic energy (W) and the dynamic
mass (m) determined during the learn run:
Speed limit curve (in the closing direction*)
The speed limit curve is the characteristic that determines the maximum permissible door
speed (closing speed), v
EN 81, the maximum kinetic energy of the door in the closing direction must not exceed
10 joules.
