Set Up a Quantitation Database
Identify compounds

The first part of setting up a Quantitation database is
identifying and naming the compounds by selecting target and
qualifier ions from a known sample.
From the Edit Compounds dialog box, select Insert Above. The

Quant Setup dialog box opens.
In the name field, enter the first compound name,

In the TIC window, enlarge the biphenyl peak (near RT 4.7).

Position the cursor at the highest point of the peak and

double right mouse click. The RT is added to the Ret. Time
field. The Scan is displayed in the lower window and the RT
is displayed for the Ret. Time in the Quant Setup dialog box.
Target is selected in the Quant Setup dialog box.
