Place the server on its side.

If installed, remove the PCI air baffle (on page 20).

Remove the system air baffle (on page 22).

Remove the fans (on page 23).

Select the appropriate PCIe slot to install the storage controller.

Remove the PCIe blank.
10.
Install the storage controller and close the slot latch.

Connect all necessary cables to the storage controller and drive cage backplane. For internal drive
