9.3.2 Configuring Traffic Suppression on an Interface

Context
Do as follows on the S3700 where traffic suppression needs to be configured.
Procedure
Step 1 Run:
system-view
The system view is displayed.
Step 2 Run:
interface interface-type interface-number
The interface view is displayed.
Step 3 Run:
{ broadcast-suppression | multicast-suppression | unicast-suppression } { percent-
value | packets packets-per-second }
Traffic suppression is configured.
Traffic suppression for three types of traffic can be configured on an interface of the S3700.
Select one of the following traffic suppression mode for the traffic on an interface:
l To configure traffic suppression based on the packet rate, you must select the packets
l To configure traffic suppression based on the bandwidth percentage, you must select the

Limited rate, including packet rate,
