Commissioning (block-based operation)
88
NOTICE
Wrong empty capacitance may cause a measuring error.
For rod and rope probes a correct measurement in the 32940: Interface with
capacitance operating mode is only possible after the empty capacitance has been
determined. To do so, make sure that the vessel is completely empty and select the
"Tank empty" option in the "Confirm distance" parameter (Step 13 in the table above).
Only in exceptional cases (if the tank can not be emptied during the commissioning)
the empty capacitance of rod probes may be entered manually. Block:
EXPERT_CONFIG (TRDEXP); Parameter: Empty capacity (empty_capacity).
For coax probes the correct empty capacitance is always set on delivery.

Configuration management

After commissioning, you can save the current device configuration, copy it to another
measuring point or restore the previous device configuration. You can do so using the
Configuration management parameter and its options.

Description
33097: Execute backup
A backup copy of the current device configuration in the HistoROM is saved to the
display module of the device. The backup copy comprises the transmitter data of
the device.
33057: Restore
The last backup copy of the device configuration is copied from the display module
to the HistoROM of the device. The backup copy comprises the transmitter data of
the device.
33838: Duplicate
The transmitter configuration from another device is duplicated to the device using
the display module.
