The selected unit is only used to be indicated on the display. The measured value is not
transformed according to the selected unit.
It is also possible to configure a distance-to-distance linearization, i.e. a
transformation from the level unit to a different distance unit. To do so, select the
Linear linearization mode. In order to define the new level unit, select the Free text
option in the Unit after linearization parameter and enter the required unit into the
Free text parameter (→  156).
 Setup → Advanced setup → Linearization → Free text
Unit after linearization (→  155) = Free text
Enter unit symbol.
Up to 32 alphanumerical characters (letters, numbers, special characters)
Free text
 Setup → Advanced setup → Linearization → Level linearized
Displays linearized level.
• The unit is defined by the Unit after linearization parameter →  155.
• For interface measurements, this parameter always refers to the total level.
