HC mode: high contrast mode

The VO5 HC (high contrast) program is selected on the touchscreen, via
the high contrast button. See the section "Selecting high contrast".
Compared to the standard settings, the high contrast setting VO5 HC is
effective for the display of hard structures such as bones and teeth. At the
same time, it can also impair the display of soft tissues and especially soft
tissue silhouettes.
The high contrast setting is therefore especially suitable in cases where
bone or tooth structures must be evaluated, e.g. after bone
augmentations, and a correct display of soft tissue silhouettes is not of
primary importance.

HD mode: high definition mode

Select the VO5 HD program (high definition) on the touchscreen with the
HD button. See section "Selecting HD mode".
HD mode (high-definition mode):
For improved visualization of structures.
In HD mode, 1 3/4 (HD mode: 357 partial images, standard: 200 partial
images) as many individual projections are created; these are used to
ensure a more refined reconstructed image quality. This can reduce
typical (CBCT) DVT/conebeam artifacts.
Please observe the maximum permissible patient dose, especially for
pediatric applications.
