OCATING AN
The AirCheck G2 can use either the three internal antennas
or the optional external antenna (sold separately) to locate
devices. In areas that have many rooms, for example in
schools and hospitals, use the internal antennas to locate.
In large, open areas, the optional external antenna can help
you locate devices more quickly.
Directional Antenna," page 70.
The AirCheck G2 Tester can use either the external antenna
or the internal antennas, but not both at the same time.
When you are on the Locate screen, if AirCheck G2 has
sensed NETSCOUT's external antenna being connected, the
switch is set to the external antenna. (Otherwise, touch the
antenna button
.) When the external antenna port is
turned off, AirCheck G2 automatically switches to the internal
antenna. Otherwise, the Locate function defaults to the
internal antenna.
