Description
Review the server management
features.
Install the server into a rack.
■ Attach cables and power cords to
the server
■ Power on the server.
Connect to Oracle Integrated Lights
Out Manager (ILOM).
Prepare storage drives and configure
RAID.
If applicable, install one of the
following operating systems or
virtual machines:
■ Oracle Solaris
■ Oracle Linux
■ Red Hat Enterprise Linux
■ Oracle VM Server
■ Windows Server
Review procedures for controlling
system power.
Review procedures for getting the
latest server firmware and software.
Troubleshoot installation issues.
