Equipment damage due to being improperly secured during transportation!
Transporting the pipette calibration system when it is switched on can damage the
sensors.

The pipette calibration system should be switched to the standby mode each time
before being transported.
3.1

Turning the Pipette Calibration System On and Off

Make sure the pipette calibration system has been installed and put into
operation in accordance with the installation instructions.

Press the on/off key A on the control unit.

The start screen appears briefly on the screen and then the user interface
appears.
The user interface initially appears in English. It is however possible to change
the language setting (see Chapter "Setting the Language," page 11).
On subsequent starts, the most recent active user profile and task are opened (if user
profile and tasks have been set up).

Level the pipette calibration system if you are prompted to do so
(see Chapter "Leveling the Pipette Calibration System (Q-Level)," page 15).

To put the pipette calibration system in standby mode or switch it off, press the
A key.

Close the upper draft shield panel.

Weighing Chamber Lighting

The weighing chamber lighting uses colors to indicate the operating status of the
pipette calibration system:

The Cubis
pipette calibration system is equipped with an application software with
interactive operator guidance. Once you open a menu or select an application, brief
instructions appear on the display to guide you through the menu or application
step-by-step. At each step along the way, the display shows only those options that
are relevant to your process; this helps prevent unnecessary "detours" and enables
you to reach your goal more quickly.
Operating status
The device is ready to use for any selected application.
A process error has occurred.
Configure any limits for the new climate control
application (see page 47).
The device is now in standby mode.
